Dr. Vaughn Mulder is a Senior Consultant with the US Market Access Center. He provides consulting to emerging technology companies on Corporate Development strategy, including market entry and channel partner development, as well as executive search, and location analysis. In addition, he works with a number of international governmental / economic development agencies, including Italy, Thailand, State of Victoria Australia, Wales, San Diego amongst many others. He is a Director with RJ Watkins & Co, Consultant with Odell Sims and Associates, Gramercy Ventures, EGB Advisors and currently serves as advisor to a number of early stage technology companies in Australia, the UK, Ireland and of course the United States. He has 20 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing, and international economic development. 

Dr. Mulder served for 12 years with the UK government. His roles included vice president of Business Development for the Welsh Development Agency (WDA) in North America, based on Sandhill Road, which enabled him to develop some strategic relationships with the VC and entrepreneurial community. He also spent 5 years working in Germany, in both academic roles at the University of Munich, as well as consulting roles on World Bank projects. Prior to being posted to the US, Dr. Mulder managed business development programs for the WDA in Italy and Benelux countries. Dr. Mulder has authored numerous articles, and holds a PhD from the University of Wales, Cardiff, in the field of regional economic competitiveness.
